Description of work (100 words):
Fabergé Egg foretold the story of Singapore’s humble origin and unwavering spirit of industrialisation and heightened commitment for progression as a post colonisation country. The resilient and tough oysters embody the tenacity and unyielding spirit that turn mere debris and gunk and into pearls, reflecting Singapore's steadfast journey from a modest fishing port to a thriving independent industrialised metropolis city. Crafted from coastal materials, it imitates the prized collection of British Royal Imperial Easter Eggs, encapsulating a tale of hidden potential, the beauty of cultivation, and the enduring strength born from adversity, within the luxurious and gleaming exterior adorned with metal fragments, clay and pearls lies a cherished embodiment of Singapore's esteemed essence and treasure, a testament to its remarkable evolution.
